Hi Friends and Fans,

We had such a great trip to Barcelona, Switzerland and Craponne, France. Billy Brent, Slim Bawb and I, traveled to Barcelona to pick up our hired backing band from Spain. The drummer, Mole Molero is from Spain, and Adam Roach (an amazing tattoo artist and guitarist from Cali) filled in on electric guitar, and Allen Vennes (from Georgia) played bass and also acted as host with his wife, Karen Jo. Our American friends, Allen and Adam, were of great assistance in driving us around Europe. Those Roundabouts can be tricky. Not only did Allen take the boys for a swim in the Mediterranean, he introduced us to the very delicious, yet inexpensive Spanish beers costing us only 30 Euro Cents each (.50 cents American) We tried to buy and drink as many as possible.

For our first adventure, we played at a Vineyard in Switzerland in a little village called Tschugg, and stayed at the Vineyard owner's house.(Freddy and Nathalie) Nathalie played host to us, and lavished us with attention, a great place to stay, and we had day and night access to their extravagant espresso machine. Connie and Reto, another Swiss couple, who helped to organize the show with Nathalie, love Texas so much, that both couples had a double wedding in Bandera, Texas, last year. Switzerland is idyllic and pristine. We will never forget our travels there, and hope to return.

Finally, our show in Craponne was a smashing success. We played to 6000 people or more. We were lucky to be there for all three days of the festival. The artist area was really accommodating, and everyone working the festival was so gracious. We love France, and we will definitely return. Plus Brent and I love practicing our University French. Thanks to Georges Carrier for booking us, and Jaques and Anne Marie for all their help. We Love you, Spain, Switzerland, and France!! The only REAL way to share with you, all of our joy, and shenanigans, is in photographs. I will try to post as many as possible, as I receive them.

Love and Bisous,
rebecca lucille
